About the London Fire Curtains Market

With an ever growing population, currently at over 8 million, London is both a dynamic and exciting place to live and work.
We have been successfully manufacturing since 1994 and soon realised that most of our customers’ projects were in the M25. For this reason we have concentrated specifically on London, supplying tailor made solutions for 1000’s of happy customers (please see our reviews).
Smoke Hazards
Fire and smoke has always posed a hazard to London residents. Thankfully, since the Great Fire of London consumed the home of 70,000 Londoners, planning and safety regulations have moved on considerably! Now, regulations stipulate adequate alarm protection is in place and government codes of practice such as BS 9999 provide recommendations on the implementation of fire smoke curtains.
The hazard is still very real of course, and for the above reasons, you may be like one of our many customers, largely residential, who require smoke and fire curtains for their property. The principal reason is to block off the damaging or life-threatening spread of smoke during a fire, containing it to a localised area, triggered automatically by fire alarm.
With over 176 projects each worth over £100 million taking place in London in 2018, including in the public sector, education, retail, private housing and hotel and leisure, as well as many smaller ones, London Fire Curtains continues to secure these properties and their residents from these hazards.
International Customers
Due to the ever growing nationalities of the London residents, we have also exported to the countries of of origin of many Londoners, growing our export market to locations including the Caribbean, Denmark, Dubai, France, Ireland, Jersey and Spain.
